| The Department of Prints and Drawings
holdings includes a special collection, consisting
of over four hundred and fifty original copper,
zinc, wooden and linoleum plates by prominent print
artists of 20th century. The plates kept in this
Collection are exhibited occasionally, as supplement
and comparative material when presenting the print
works of the prominent Croatian artists. The Collection
holds the plates by M. Kraljević, M. C. Crnčić,
B. Csikos Sessia, T. Krizman, A. Krizmanić, B. Šenoa,
M. Trepše, S. Glumac, D. Kokotović, and others.
The Collection of Chalcographic Plates represents
the nucleus of the Department of Prints and Drawings
Chalcography, established in 1997. |
